The four holy pilgrim spots: are Badrinath Dham, Kedarnath Dham, Gangotri Dham, and Yamunotri Dham. The four holy places are also sources of four sacred rivers,  Alaknanda (Badrinath), Mandakini (Kedarnath),  Ganga (Gangotri), and Yamuna (Yamunotri).

Gangotri worships Goddess Ganga Mata, whereas Yamunotri worships Goddess Yamuna mata. You also get to experience the beauty that the Himalayas are known for. About The Trek

The 6-day trek takes you along some of the most beautiful places in Uttarakhand that are blessed with an abundance of nature.

Day 1: Departure (Haridwar to Barkot)

  • Morning drive (220km)  to Barkot via Dehradun, Mussoorie and kempty fall. On the way, we will halt to visit Kempty Fall.
  • After that, we will continue our ride to Barkot. On arrival, check-in at pre-booked hotel/Camp for a comfortable overnight stay.
  • Barkot is a small scenic town in Uttarkashi District in Uttarakhand. Barkot situated on the banks of the Yamuna River.

Day 2:Barkot – Yamunotri- Barkot

  • Morning ride to Janki Chatti (40 km), upon arrival we will start trek to Yamunotri, which is about 5 km distance by horse/pony or walk as per your package.
  • On reaching Yamunotri, we will proceed to Yamunotri Dham for Darshan. Afterward that, we will start the trek back to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot and have a comfortable overnight stay.
  • Yamunotri is situated at the height of 3,290 m in the Himalayas. It is one of the four sites in India’s Char Dham pilgrimage and the origin of the Yamuna River.
  • The place is well known for Yamunotri Temple, Surya Kund and rock Shilla

Day 3: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI

  • Morning drive to Uttarkashi, which is about 85 km away and takes around 05 hours to reach. Check-in at the already booked hotel/ camp.

  • In the evening it is free for visiting the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Shakti Temple and NIM. Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Uttarkashi is a town in Uttarakhand, India. Uttarkashi is a place which is situated on the banks of the Bhagirathi River at an elevation of 1350 m.

  • The place is a hub for the many temples and ashrams.

Day 4:UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI 

  • We will start our day early morning and leave for Gangotri via Harsil. On arriving, we will visit the Gangotri temple to offer prayers and Darshan.
  • Later, we will ride back to our Hotel in Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 5: UTTARKASHI – Haridwar
