Few explorers have set foot on the Dayara Bugyal trek, even though it is close to the Uttarkashi (Gangotri region). This bugyal is considered to be one of the best attractive and breathtaking treks in Uttarakhand because of the highland meadows. It is so worthwhile for a very small effort. The vast meadows, beautiful campsites and stunning mountain views make Dayara Bugyal an ideal summer trek, especially if there are kids aged eight years and above, because it makes for a perfect family trek.

It was my maiden trek to Dayara Bugyal in September 2022. I completed one of my bucket list wishes successfully at the age of 60+, with no injury. It gives me a sence of satisfaction and happiness to complete it with flying colours.

Thanks to sumeru tourism, who provided us our Guide team leader Mr jasveer, a young chap from uttarkashi, pleasing personality, extremely knowledgeable. He motivated us throughout our trek and did his best to complete the mission. Two other guides ram and pankaj were also in the team who helped us during our trekking. sumeru tourism provided us facilities of good quality, for our stay and food at the camp sites and base camp.

Thanks to ram, our guide, who motivated us throughout and took good care of all of us. Thanks to all my co-trekkers who had helped me and inspired me to complete my maiden trekking experience.

You store these experiences and memories in your heart forever, feel elated and content and realise you have successfully lived up to fulfill your bucket list.

Nice travel with sumeru tourism. I’ll suggest others to go with team sumeru tourism. They all are locals so have better understanding of that area.
