Chamsher Kangri is a place of dreams. With chilly air, electric scenery, and an abundance of slushy, crunchy snow, this is an experience you don’t want to miss. You will always remember this terrifying event, look back on it with nostalgia, and wish it could go on forever.
An acclimatisation walk through the renowned Markha Valley will set the stage for an exhilarating journey before continuing on to Chamsher Kangri, a 21,765-foot peak.on the magnificent Changthang plateau, which has a view of the sublime Tsomoriri Lake. The Markha Valley walk is a must-do if you want to understand what it’s like to live in Ladakh, one of the most picturesque places on earth.
Our journey will follow through some villages, providing a look at the ethnic side of Ladakh, and then across the grazing pasture lands, we will have to trek on the great Kongmaru La. We will then attempt to climb the lower twin of twin peaks of Chamsher and Lungsher in the Rupshu area. Chamsher is majestically high and will offer you the utmost realistic experience of mountaineering. This trip is an excellent opportunity to get an insight into the lives of the Changpa Nomads who wander around the Changthang.
